James Hylton began competing in the ARCA RE/MAX Series in 1975.  During his tenure in the series, Hylton has campaigned cars for drivers including Carl McCormick, T.J. Bell, Kirk Shelmerdine and Damon Luck.  In 2006, Hylton began competing as a driver in the series on a full-time basis.  In 2006, Hylton finished 18th in the ARCA RE/MAX Series Driver standings.  Hylton went back to the car owner status for the 2007 season but returned to the series as a driver in 2008.
