James Hylton's first run in his short-track Rhino's Energy Drink Dodge Charger ended a bit sooner than anticipated in the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200.  A multi-car crash on lap 29 ended Hylton's day along with the runs of several others.  "You could call this the wild, wild Midwest!" stated Hylton, "The number of cars involved was amazing! The whole track was blocked.  I thought I had gotten stopped in time then someone hit me from behind and rammed me under Gabi DiCarlo's car."

The wreck damaged both the radiator and the oil cooler on the number 48 car and foiled Hylton's plan to avoid Salem's usual pitfalls.  Hylton stated "I was just hanging back, waiting my time but unfortunately my time never got to come".  Justin Allgaier went on to win the event, out distancing Ken Schrader, Matt Carter, Frank Kimmel, and Scott Speed.

Hylton and his 2007 Dodge Charger qualified in 31st place, with a lap time of  19.340 seconds.  "The car ran great." stated Hylton, "I am looking forward to going to the Carolina 500 at  Rockingham on May 4th and give it another try."  Hylton is a veteran of 35 starts at the historic North Carolina track, chalking up 1 Top-Five and 13 Top-Ten finishes along the way.
